Siivouspäivän kirppis TYS:n asukkaille 23.5. klo 14-18
Siivouspäivä on kirpputorien ja kierrättämisen ystävien uusi juhlapäivä. Sitä vietetään seuraavan kerran lauantaina 23.5. Vuoden siistein festivaali muuttaa kaupungit ja naapurustot isoiksi kirpputoreiksi ja markkinoiksi. TYS:n tapahtumatoimikunta osallistuu siivouspäivään järjestämällä kirpputorin TYS:n toimiston takana olevalla parkkipaikalla klo 14-18. Jokainen TYS:n asukas voi tuoda myytäväksi haluamaansa tavaraa ja vaatteita. Tapahtumatoimikunta ei tarjoa myyjille myyntipöytiä, vaan jokainen voi myydä tuotteitaan esimerkiksi mukana tuomansa filtin päällä. Mehua, kahvia ja pullaa on tarjolla myyjille ja ostajille Yo-kylä lännen Kerhiksellä ihan TYS:n toimiston vieressä (Inspehtorinkatu 4 b).

Voit ilmoittaa myyntipaikastasi kirjautumalla sisään Siivouspäivän karttasivulla (http://siivouspaiva.com/fi_FI/myyntipaikat.php). Paikan ilmoittaminen ei ole pakollista, mutta suositeltavaa. Mitä useampi ihminen näkee ilmoituksesi, sitä todennäköisempää on, että paikalle saapuu myös paljon ostajia. Ilmesty siis paikalle myymään pois itsellesi turhat tavarat, tienaamaan hiukan ylimääräistä, tekemään löytöjä, tutustumaan asukastoimikuntien toimintaan ja uusiin ihmisiin.

Kesägrillajaiset ja liikuntatapahtuma TYS:n asukkaille 6.6.

Tervetuloa viettämään kanssamme koko perheen liikuntatapahtumaa ja kesägrillajaisia Yo-kylä lännen ja idän välisille urheilukentille (minigolf-radan vieressä) lauantaina 6.6.2015 klo 15.00 alkaen. Luvassa on pihapelejä, kuten pussijuoksua, mölkkyä, hyppynarulla hyppimistä sekä mahdollisuus pelata kori- ja lentopalloa sekä grillata Yo-kylä lännen Kerhiksen takapihalla olevalla grillillä (Inspehtorinkatu 4B, TYS:n toimiston vieressä). Tarjolla on maissia, makkaraa, salaatteja, sipsejä ja virvokkeita, mutta voit myös tuoda omat grillattavat eväät mukanasi. Tapahtuma alkaa klo 15 ja tapahtuma on alkoholiton klo 18 asti. Tämän jälkeen jokainen voi nauttia alkoholipitoisia juomia, mutta tapahtumatoimikunnan puolesta ei järjestetä alkoholitarjoilua.

Ilta jatkuu Three Beers pubissa (auki klo 16.30 alkaen) ja myöhemmin illalla paikalle saapuu livebändi Lion Eyes (http://lioneyes.net/) meitä viihdyttämään. Second-hand Shopping On Cleaning Day for Tenans of TYS 23.5.

It’s time to clean your cupboards and storages! Come and join us taking part in the fleamarket phenomenon called Siivouspäivä (cleaning day). On 23 of May the festival for those who are interested in recycling and buying/selling second-hand stuff takes place EVERYWHERE. TYS Events’ Committee takes part in this grand market by organising a fleamarket on the parking zone behind the TYS office on 23 of May at 14-18 o’clock. Every TYS tenant can bring his/her stuff to sell there. Notice that we don’t provide you any tables so bring some cloth with you if you don’t wish to scatter your things on the bare ground. We’ll offer sweet buns, juice and coffee for the sellers as well as for the customers in Student Village West Clubroom (Inspehtorinkatu 4B).

You can tag your “second-hand store” on the official website of Siivouspäivä via logging in the site’s map page (http://siivouspaiva.com/en_EN/myyntipaikat.php). The tagging is not obligatory but recommended so everybody knows where you and your “treasures” (stuff) are. Now is the time to do the inventory and come sell or trade the things you no longer need and get some extra cash and free space. See you on the May 23th!

Sports Day and BBQ for TYS tenants 6.6.

Welcome to spend a summer saturday with us with barbecue and sports on the Saturday 6th of June from 3pm onwards! We can play basketball, beach volley and some outdoor games that are suitable for children in the fields next to the minigolf in Student Village. The barbecue will take place on the backyard of the Student Village West Clubroom (Inspehtorinkatu 4B, next to the TYS office). We will offer corn, sausages, salads and soft drinks but you can also bring your own food to barbecue! The event will start at the 3 pm and it shall be non-alcoholic until 6pm. Please keep that in mind when bringing your own drinks.

The evening will continue in the Three Beers Pub (opens at 4.30pm) and later in the evening we have a live duo, Lion Eyes (http://lioneyes.net/), to play on stage. Please sing up beforehand on http://goo.gl/forms/g0qs8mwnph so we know how much food and drinks we will have for you. Gather your friends and come say hello to your neighbours and fellow tenants of TYS!
