Welcome to explore the Åland islands by bike!
A short overnight trip, a relaxing week in a cottage by the sea or a
long bike tour - you decide! We will travel together for one day, after
which everyone is free to plan their personal ideal vacation.
The tenants’ committee will sponsor:
- Viking Amorella ferry from Turku to Mariehamn (ferry tickets for passengers and bikes, breakfast)
- Entrance to Kastelholm castle
- Guided tour of the castle in English
Registration fee is 10 €/person.
We will take the ferry at 8 in the morning of Sunday, 12th of July,
arrive in Mariehamn at 2 p.m. and bike to Kastelholm together (24 km,
about 2 hours). The guided tour will take place at 5-6 p.m.
After Kastelholm, everyone is free to continue biking further in the
islands or return to Mariehamn and Turku. The individual choices as well
as all accommodation will be arranged and paid by the participants
themselves.
There are places for the first 15 participants. The minimum number of participants is 10.
